Coconut Leaf Rot Database
Coconut leaf rot disease is caused by fungal pathogens. The causative agents are Colletotrichum gloeosporioides(Cg) and Exserohilum rostratum(Er).Genomic DNA was extracted from 10 isolates of C.gloeosporioides and 7 isolates of E.rostratum.These genomic DNAs were PCR analysed and the length of PCR product from both Cg and Er was estimated at 590 bp.They were further confirmed by sequence analysis. This nucleotide sequence data used to create the database. In addition to this data available from EMBL database were downloaded and added to CLRPD. Protein sequence of these two pathogens were also made available in this database.
CLRPD Provides:-
1.Nucleotide sequences of Cg & Er
2.Protein sequences of Cg & Er
3.Literature.
