 Distribution:
 Sierra Madre Mountains, north-eastern Mexico.
 
 Description:
 A small, clumping palm with a decumbent trunk up to 2m long, and a rounded crown of striking, steel blue leaves. The inflorescence is erect, and stands above the foliage.
