Clinostigma harlandii

Habitat:
Very moist forests, ridge crests, and slopes of Vanuatau, from the islands of Vanua Lava, Espirutu Santu, Pentecote, Efate, Erromango, and Aneityum, from between 400 to over 1,000m.

Description:
A tall, solitary, emergent palm to about 15m, with long, arching leaves, penduluous leaflets, and a crownshaft to about 1.4 m long, which is covered in a whitish wax.
