Cyphophoenix nucele

Habitat:
Decomposed limestone in coastal rainforest in a small area of Lifou Island, New Caledonia.

Description:
A medium/tall emergant feather palm, to about 15 metres, with a prominantly ringed trunk.

Conservation status:
Critically endangered
