Retispatha dumetosa

Retispatha dumetosa is endemic to Borneo, where it grows in moist rainforest conditions. It is a rattan palm, but lacks climbing structures found on most rattans. It forms masses of stems that scramble along the ground among other vegetation. It is very uncommon in cultivation and has not been evaluated in South Florida's growing conditions.
