Significant achievements	• Standardized sampling technique for white grubs affecting coconut and investigated bioecology• Recommended pesticides for field control of white grubs in coconut• Recommended application of botanicals (marotti/neem oil cake +sand) as prophylactic leaf axil filling of coconut palm for rhinoceros beetle and red palm weevil.• The insecticidal /IGR activity of the local weed plant, Clerodendron infortunatum, was studied in detail and recommended for field application in breeding sites for control of Oryctes rhinoceros. • Standardized mass multiplication technique for Apanteles taragamae, an early instar parasitoid of coconut black headed caterpillar.
